Services on Wednesday Nights will begin at 6:00 pm until March 8, 2026

January ARC Food Items:

• Saltine Crackers, canned soup, and salt/pepper shakers
• Personal hygiene items are always needed, or you may make a financial donation

Church Council Meeting:

Almost Every year I call a church Council meeting. This is an opportunity for everyone, especially the elected positions to tell me and each other what need to do differently or better or more of, or less of, or suggest changes, other improvements, etc. We will meet as a Church council on Sunday January 18th after morning worship. 

Men's Day:

Men’s Day at the church will be on January 25th. We ask that the Men of our church use this opportunity to give their testimony, sing, read and speak on a particular scripture, or why that scripture speaks something to them. We pray many of you will speak. 

Lady's Day:
Lady's Day will be February 15th.  

Youth Sunday:

Youth Sunday will be in March; we will work with Teresa and Stacy to set a date. Easter is April 5th this year. 

VBS:

Four people have volunteered to help with our VBS this year; Micah, Kelsey, Sandy, and Jamie. If you also want to volunteer to help organize, please see your pastor. A planning will be held. 

Discipleship Class:

The discipleship class for those baptized in our church will be held on Sunday morning on January 11th and January 18th during the Sunday School class time. 

Community Visits:

Starting in January for several months we will be visiting and contacting people in the community to invite them to church. We want everyone involved in some way.  Some have already volunteered to help with preparing packets to use in visits and in mailings.  We will need some people to do mailings. We will need some to do visits that are simply porch visits. We will also be using our deacons and other volunteers to do more in depth visits. Some short training can be made available. We also want a strong prayer team in place for this effort.  The primary goal is to take the word of Jesus into the community. A by-product will be new members and youth, getting our Van out of the mothballs, and prayerfully, seeing people saved. 

We will have planning/organizational meeting for our Visitation Effort on Sunday January 25th at 4:00pm. I ask everyone who will help in anyway to please plan to attend. We will be doing visits, mailings, phone contacts, etc. we want a prayer team to meet and a team to work with Kendra and James to keep our supplies current and plentiful. There will be plenty to do.
